Kathy knew she was destined for hairdressing greatness when, at the age of 12, she improved on her freestanding Barbie head’s boring “do”, by giving her flawless, face framing layers. The clouds parted, light shown down, and God said, “It is good.” She discovered her purpose and passion. Years later she would move to New York City where she had the opportunity to work on celebrities, such as Priscilla Presley, Faith Ford, Blake Lively, Megan Fox, as well as others. She spent 10 years there where she trained with Toni & Guy and color guru Beth Minardi. She has styled hair for a number of Red Carpet events, films, and TV shows- including All My Children, for which she was nominated for an Emmy award.
Kathy is happy to be back in her home state of Texas where she can spend time with her family and the love of her life, her dog Harrington.
